Who I Am

My name is Dr. Ehoneah Obed. I am a pharmacist turned software engineer turned health informatician turned founder. More importantly, I am someone who has walked the messy, uncertain path of reinvention multiple times and returned with a map. My mission is to help capable but stuck professionals redesign their lives through practical systems, evidence based frameworks, and simple experiments that reveal who they can become.

I am not a motivational coach. I am a guide. I help people break free from identity traps and build a life they can truly own. My work is grounded in real world experience and in the systems I have engineered from nearly a decade of personal reinvention.

What I Do

I teach professionals how to reinvent themselves through a set of interconnected frameworks that describe the psychological engine behind identity, the step by step process of change, and the systems that convert effort into lasting evidence.

My frameworks include:

The ESR Loop
A psychological engine that explains why people feel stuck and how identity, action, evidence, and story interact to create your current reality. It shows exactly where you can intervene when you want to change your life.

The Reinvention Path
A six step roadmap that takes you from curiosity to a new identity. It replaces “find clarity first” with an experimental approach where clarity is earned through action, energy, and evidence.

The Energy Evidence Matrix
A diagnostic tool that removes the confusion between effort and progress by helping you interpret both the internal signal (energy) and the external signal (evidence). It tells you whether you should commit, persevere, or pivot.

The Identity Multiplier Engine
A system that solves the messy middle of reinvention by converting daily effort into visible and verifiable proof. It is the engine that moves you from “trying” to “becoming.”

The Micro Payment Method
A practical tool that turns large, overwhelming goals into small daily actions that build momentum and update your identity through consistent evidence.

These systems form the intellectual backbone of my work and guide everything I teach, write, and build.

Why I Do This

I know what it feels like to be capable on paper but stuck in reality. I know what it feels like to want more, try more, study more, and still stay in the same place because your identity has not caught up with your ambitions.

I have lived this myself. From pharmacy to software engineering to health informatics to founding startups, my life has been one long experiment in curiosity, focus, evidence, and identity expansion. Every pivot came with fear, doubt, and uncertainty. Every pivot also came with a pattern. Over time I reverse engineered that pattern into the systems I now teach.

My work exists because too many brilliant people remain trapped in careers they no longer enjoy because they believe change requires clarity, confidence, or permission. It does not. It requires a system. It requires evidence. It requires a way to engineer the next version of yourself instead of waiting for it.

What I Write in The Ledger

My weekly newsletter The Ledger is the official record of my systems, frameworks, and experiments on living and working with intention. It is not a collection of motivational quotes. It is a permanent ledger of blueprints, case studies, and field notes for people who want to design a life they own.

Every Tuesday I publish one new entry in one of three categories:

  1. Blueprints
Detailed, step by step systems you can immediately put to work.
  2. Case Studies
Real world analyses of experiments that succeeded or failed.
  3. Field Notes
Personal insights, questions, and observations from my own journey.

The Ledger is for architects, builders, and systems thinkers who want more than inspiration. They want design. They want clarity. They want a way to make sense of their own evolution.

My Story, Briefly

Pharmacy school showed me the limits of helping people one prescription at a time. Coding opened a door to a different kind of impact. Reinvention became my way of life.

While working in internal medicine, I saw patients who arrived too late because of money, distance, or lack of access. That experience ignited my desire to build scalable systems that could help thousands instead of dozens. I learned to code while studying and later built applications, blogs, and digital products. I documented everything publicly, which brought opportunities, roles, and a career in software engineering. I went on to study health informatics at the University of Toronto, worked with a digital health startup, and now serve as CTO of a Canadian company while building tools, systems, and content for people navigating their own identity changes.

Across every chapter, one pattern held true. Transformation is a skill. Identity is a skill. Reinvention is a process that anyone can learn.

Who This Is For

My work is for smart, capable professionals who:

Feel stuck in a career that no longer fits
Want to change direction but do not know where to begin
Have many interests but no clear path
Have tried to force clarity and gotten nowhere
Value systems, logic, and evidence over vague advice
Want a practical way to test their way into a new life

If this is you, welcome. You are not lost. You are simply at the beginning of a new loop.

How to Start

Most people think they need clarity before taking action. My work begins with the opposite idea. Clarity is not the starting point. It is the reward you earn after testing your curiosities, building small experiments, collecting evidence, and telling a new story about who you are becoming.

Here are the best places to begin:

Read The Ledger
Start with the entries that speak to where you are right now.

Take the Identity Audit
Get a clear view of your current story, your internal blocks, and the loops keeping you stuck.

Run a 30 Day Experiment
Choose one curiosity and test it. Use the Reinvention Path and the Micro Payment Method to guide your daily actions.

Build Your Proof of Work Portfolio
A portfolio is not a collection of past projects. It is a living ledger of who you are becoming.

Your next chapter will not come from planning it. It will come from engineering it.

My Promise

I do not offer hacks. I do not offer shortcuts. I do not sell overnight transformations.

I offer systems you can test, tools you can apply, and ways of thinking that give you back the steering wheel of your life.

If you are ready to take the next step with clarity, dignity, and evidence, I am here to guide you.
